With those eyes that seem so piercing. This book is a wonderful tool to teach children that any major loss is natural and can be overcome as they move through the stages. Taking a dim view of miracles, mysticism, and metaphysics, Hume skeptically asserted that empirical proofs of religion (such as the existence of God, the immortality of the soul, and an afterlife) are not possible. I have already had tremendous improvement in health from a fungal infection that I have had for years and OTC and prescription meds have not helped. But it is perhaps this writing style that adds a sense of realism to his novel. I am glad I got this book.
