I have the art of the first Guardians of the Galaxy, so I knew I had to get this book. Was the primary story teller watching the event or involved in a specific portion of the event. I know you will too. I can't wait for the series to continue. Or for that matter, a human being. I don't agree with all his recommendations, but I agree with all the concepts and themes.

I highly recommended this text. In 1957, at age 35, I found myself in fear of an early demise. If you are a mid-century fan, or want to know more, this is very informative. Recently, three of Manchester's short stories were selected “101 Best” for the Chicken Soup for the Soul series. The action begins in Paris, France, and it culminates in Atlanta, Georgia. I felt as if I were transported to the various locales, and I thought the interwoven stories of the divorce from Colette and particularly, the fate of the Tate girls' father added depth to the story.
