I like all the Daisy books;some better than others. Example Problems section is divided into self-test questions. As a child reader I didn't regard her as too perfect nor do I now. If I may modify the definition of 4-stars from “I Like it” to “I Admire it”, then I can make the rating system work for this read. My other frustration was with the closure of the book, I felt like our "main" character Perfect/Paul gets muddled out, leaving me with so many questions on how his character fared in the end. This fascinating and unusual novel tells the story of what happened that dark Christmas night; and what the murderer did next.
