Loss of life, of love or both happen as men refuse to speak of love before achieving financial security or having too much privilege misunderstand their ability to flaunt local cultural norms. I enjoyed Ferry's art, some people won't. The girls take matters into their own hands when they fear that they could be permanently separated if the worst happens. Everyone tells her there's no cure, but Cera won't give up.
