He is the award-winning author of The Circuit, Breaking Through, La Mariposa, and his newest novel, Reaching Out. As a younger woman, seeing the characters grow up and develop through such distinct and expertly crafted tellings of events I never had a chance to experience was engaging and kept me reading from cover to cover.
